Peanut Power gives you sustainable energy whenever you need chocolaty peanut strengthening. Your energy boost should be vegan, organic, healthy and free from industrial sugar and should taste wonderfully chocolatey? Peanut Power pampers you with herbal, sustainably traded organic ingredients and a seductive recipe. Our chocolatiers in the Bernese Oberland dedicate themselves carefully to the preparation of these pralines from the whole cocoa bean.
With Peanut Power you support Ugandan smallholders, a hippopotamus conservation project in Ghana and the endangered mountain gorillas:
- We make the chocolate from exclusive, organic “Semuliki Forest” cocoa beans from small farmers in western Uganda. Our local partner guarantees the families a higher, regular income and promotes sustainable agriculture.
- We buy our peanuts directly from a smallholder cooperative in northwestern Ghana. The cooperative has established a nature reserve to protect the wild hippos and focuses on organic farming, mixed crop rotations for healthy soils and the traceability of the harvests to the farmer. The organization as a cooperative enables the remote farms to have access to the market and certification of their near-natural, organic cultivation. We are very excited that we are allowed to process part of this valuable harvest here in the Bernese Oberland.
- We donate 1% of the proceeds to the Dian Fossey Foundation, which is committed to protecting the endangered mountain gorillas.
In order to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible, we use low-CO2, plastic and aluminum-free recycling packaging. The pralines are packed in plastic-free film made of compostable cellulose. This is how we preserve the natural flavors. The paperboard comes from PaperWise, the leading provider of environmentally friendly and socially responsible paper production. It consists of vegetable crop residues and was made with 100% green energy.

This praline provides you with original, natural nutrients. It does not use artificial flavors or preservatives, is gluten-free, vegan, palm oil and lactose-free. We make it without refined sugar from GMO-free and ethically traded ingredients.
