Untreated organic raspberry dried in raw food quality
The fresh, 100% ripe organic raspberries are immediately frozen after harvesting. Then based on the principle of sublimation, the bound iced water will be removed from the raspberries. This is done under vacuum closure at Minus 60-65°C, as frozen water under vacuum immediately transform in gaseous state. After the procedure the frozen raspberries are only sevent of the original weight. Special is, that the fruits retains the typical properties such as texture, color, aroma, the taste and nutritional values. Also, all the enzymes are still active.
The finished purple red to burgundy red raspberries are long lasting at room temperature and by the dry state easy to dose. Since the fruits only the water content has been withdrawn, the natural freshness is restored after adding water immediately.
Freeze dried raspberries contain more vitamin C than oranges and lemons. They are rich in vitamins A and K and the minerals potassium and iron.
Application: Add freeze-dried raspberries to fresh desserts, snacks, granola bars, smoothies and chocolate.
