Our Bourbon vanilla is grown by three cooperatives in the northeast of Madagascar and processed. The vanilla pods are gently dried in the sun for 1 hour per day for 20 days. The cultivation of vanilla and other spices such as ginger, turmeric, cinnamon and pepper gives the local population a stable income and prevents the exploitation of ecological valuable habitats.
